Center Gravity was founded in 2005 by Chris Franklin and wife Jayne. They decided to create the dream job for Chris, carving out a niche business from a gap on the market experienced trackside.
Today the company is a small but perfectly formed family run unit. Chris heads up the engineering side of the business, working closely with fellow engineer Pete, while wife Jayne and daughter Holly run the office, dealing with all the enquiries, bookings, and finances.

Our service is completely bespoke to each and every customer and their car. We invest time in our customers before we even look at their cars – to understand how they drive, if they will be driving on their own or with passengers, what tyres they use and if they change them for the Winter, how frequently they drive, if they go on driving holidays, if they will use a track, who else drives the car, and their mileage breakdown. Only when we really understand your requirements can we ensure we deliver what you need.
Our customers are as involved in the modification of their cars as they want to be. We invite all our customers to stay and watch and ask questions as we undertake the work, or they are equally as welcome to leave us to it.
